Snaplyt Refund Policy
Effective Date: 01/01/2025
Last Updated: 01/01/2025
At Snaplyt, we want you to feel confident using our platform. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which we issue refunds for paid Snaplyt subscriptions.
1. Free Plan
Snaplyt offers a free plan so you can try the Service risk‑free before upgrading to a paid plan. We encourage all users to use this free tier to test if Snaplyt meets their needs before subscribing.
2. Refund Eligibility
We may issue refunds in the following situations:
- Product did not work as intended
If you encounter technical issues on our side that prevent you from using core features as advertised, and our support team cannot resolve them, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial payment. - No longer needed
If you decide Snaplyt is no longer required, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial payment. - Unaware of subscription renewal
If your subscription renews unexpectedly, you may request a review within 7 days of the renewal charge provided your site/account has not been actively used during the new billing period. Note: subscriptions renew automatically and are charged between 00:00 and 01:00 (UTC) on the renewal date; cancel at least 48 hours before the end of the billing period to avoid renewal. - Accidental purchase
Accidental purchases reported within 7 days are eligible for a refund. - Duplicate charge
If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription, we will refund the duplicate charge(s). - Purchased incorrect product/plan
If you subscribed to the wrong plan tier, we can either refund the incorrect purchase so you can re‑subscribe to the right plan, or apply the amount paid as a credit where possible.
Important: If a refund is issued, your paid plan will be cancelled immediately and your account will be reverted to the free plan. There are no refunds or credits for unused subscription periods.
3. Non‑Refundable Situations
Refunds are not generally available for:
- Payments older than 60 days.
- Subscription renewals where more than 7 days have passed since the charge.
- Accounts actively used during the billing period (creating/serving sites, using modules, etc.).
- Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or fraudulent activity.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] including:
- Your Snaplyt account email address,
- Transaction ID or invoice details,
- Refund reason.
All refunds are processed via Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record, subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms. It may take 5–10 business days for funds to appear depending on your bank or card issuer. If you believe you have been charged sales tax in error, you must contact Paddle within 60 days of purchase; sales tax refund eligibility is determined by Paddle.
By using paid features, you also agree to Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms and Conditions: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
5. Legal Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or affects your rights under applicable consumer laws (e.g., EU consumer protection legislation may provide additional statutory rights).
